History of JBA Architects
In 1938, Joseph Baker began his architecture career in Newark, Ohio. As sole-proprieter, he focused his love of design on educational facilities and quickly became one of the most sought after and respected school designers in Ohio. No longer able to keep up with demand, he expanded his practice to include associates and partners. When Mr. Baker passed away in 1987, the firm Joseph Baker & Associates became JBA Architects, P.C.
Today, JBA Architects' ten staff firm is led
by president, Tom Nugent, vice president,
J. Michael Henderson, and vice
president, Greg Cotterman. Additional
leadership is provided by associates Steven
Stein, director of design and project architect, Mark
Keith.
